We express our deepest sympathy to you Esther and to the children on your loss. How we regret not being with you and grieve with you and your family. He is at home with the Lord whom he served faithfully. He will not return to us but if we are in the Lord we will go to him and be reunited in heaven one day. We have many fond memories of our times together. With love Rich and Phyllis

Dear Esther and family,

My sympathy to you and my prayer that God is giving you comfort as you mourn the loss of Arie.
Arie was a model man of God. He was always at ease giving a testimony of God's sovereignty. God gave him unusual talent and he used it all for God's glory.

Even last year yet, we had a good laugh about the door latches that he installed in our house in CA. Jerry and buddies were painting the inside of the house and didn't know how to replace the door hardware. Arie came to their rescue.

God used Arie in my life and I know he was used by God in thousands of lives. You was a very generous man.

To God be the glory for his life. What a great time he is having with the musical angels!

My love to you!

to the Olivier family - you have never met us or we you, but just wanted you to know that we too will miss Arie...having read his editorials and letters in the various area newspapers. He wasn't afraid to take a stand for Jesus Christ!

To Arie's widow and family, I first had become aquainted with Arie, while working for Don Swanson, at KTFC radio in Sioux City where the broacast of your church was carried. I first visited with Arie, while on the phone, getting that broadcast hooked up, back in the early to mid 80's.
My mother's first-cousin, Gerald Isakson, has his chiropractic clinic near the church, and the Oliver residence being several blocks North of that availed me the opportunity to stop in, on an occasion, and have Arie, display his HAM Radio operation to me, in his basement, he also showed me, how unique that the layout of his home was.
Years later, around 1997-98, Arie put on a program at the Mary Jane Brown Good Samaritan Center in Luverne where my mother at that time, was a resident. I hadn't realized that Arie had cousins in the Luverne area. If you do not recall who I am from previous days @ KTFC, my most recent time spent there was throughout much of 2005, during ownership transition to Back to the Bible. I have for the past five years, or so, been the co - host, of the Sunday morning Gospel show, on K - 101, Luverne-Worthington from 6-10 am.
Incidently, you folks might be interested in knowing that Don Swanson is now retired and living in the Countryside Retirement Home (formerly the Billy Sunday Nursing Home) at 6100 Morningside Avenue in Sioux City.

It has been such a blessing knowing Arie, and I am priveledged, to have worked with him and enjoyed his Christain fellowship.

BlesSINGS !!
