Our sincere sympathy to your family. I had Lyle in my classroom in 4th and 6th grades and he had that same "grin" way back then.
Praying for you and your family.
I met Lyle through Divorce Care in Le Mars. It seems like he was always there at every activity I attended: Beginning Experience, Ya-Tec, and Celebrate Recovery. Lyle loved the Lord and was diligent about working on himself to become a better person. He will be missed by many, including me. You have my sympathy during this time of loss.
Austin - Thoughts and especially prayers are with you in this emotional time for your family. You have done a great job providing all the suppport you could for your dad. May the services ahead honor your dad's life, and I pray for overwhelming love and support for you.
To the family, relatives & friends of Lyle. May God bless you each day ahead with strength. The Lord gives us our strength.
Sending our Heartfelt Sympathy and prayers to Family and Friends. I was in the Air Natl Guard with Lyle and thought of him often after he retired from the Guard. God Bless you all and may he comfort you in your grief. Sincerely, Keith and Joyce Sevening
Know that we have been praying daily for your family through this journey. Jesus needed him in heaven - and what a God we serve that prepared that mansion in glory just for us! We will continue to pray that God will give you that peace that Lyle now has!
Dear Aaron and Amy:
Thinking of you as you just laid your Dad to rest. What a time of year to do that, while we are thinking of the death and the rising from the grave by Jesus! We can be so glad He went first and showed us the way and gave us hope, knowing that that grave will not hold us! We will rise when he calls our name!!
May our Father hold you tight and comfort you.

As a member of the 185th Air Refueling Wing I was very proud to serve along side of Lyle. We all loved his willingness to learn and be a fellow Guardsman and most of all a good friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of his family. With our deepest sympathy. Member's of the 185th Civil Engineering Squadron.
