Only followers of Christ can weep and rejoice at the same time. That was the picture here at Christ Community Church this morning. Crying and praising. Harlan will be so greatly missed. Marilyn, we love you...we will remain close and attentive.

Marilyn and family,
We were shocked upon hearing of the passing away of Harlan. Our deepest sympathy go out to you. Words are so hard to express at a time like so. We have known Harlan for many years. Many were the times he had lunch at our home , when working for Jim's brother John. We pray for you , that God will see you through this difficult time. Sincerely Jim and Bert Boogerd.

We are thinking and praying for you during this time. Harlan was a good man, great father and grandfather. I remember babysitting for you and him bringing me home late at night. I'll remember him when I look at mom's cupboards. The Lord will take care of you. "The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear?"

Dear Marilyn and family;
We want to express our sincere sympathies to you in the passing of Harlan.
We were blessed to be able to get to know him through small groups at Christ Community Church. We ARE blessed with memories of fun, food, and fellowship.
We praise God that the witness and testimony of his life on earth is that of the faithfulness and love of his heavenly Father and of his LORD and Savior Jesus Christ.
In Christ's love;
Rod & Kim
Dear Marilyn and family, I had the privilege to meet and get to know Nehemiah (as I called him in Israel) for a brief time while traveling together. I found him to be a man who was in love with the Lord, and in love with life. He was a lot of fun, a kidder, and a great pictionary player! It was a privilege for me to have that time to meet him. He is definately dancing with his Lord today. My sympathy though to those of you who are left behind, waiting to join him. I wanted to be there Wednesday night,but my plans made it impossible. I was sure it was going to be a true celebration of his life. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless you all.
A sympathy card has been sent to the family of Harlan Niemeyer.
Our hearts are with you as you begin the rest of your life's journey without Harlan.
We always looked for Harlan when we went to the Clay County Fair. There he'd be, sitting in the hottest booth of the fair, fireplaces roaring with a big smile on his face! He was such a fun person to visit with. We will sorely miss him this year. Take care and wrap yourself in the love and care that your friends are sending your way.
We love you!

We wish to express our sympathy to Marilyn and son Derick and the rest of the family in the loss of their friend, husband and father. We came to know and respect Harlan and Derick several years ago when they remodeled our house. Always cheerful and friendly, Harlan was an excellent example for all. May God grant strength to the widow and children. With sympathy, Norm and Sherry Van Ravenswaay
