They returned to South Carolina and in August of 2012 welcomed their first child, Nikita Marie to their family. Shortly after her birth, they moved to Norfolk, Virginia.
After Josh completed his Navy career, they moved to Galva, IA. In March of 2018, they added Jaxon Joshua to the family. Courtney ran Sweet Pea Daycare in Galva. Courtney was a very caring person, helping others when she could. She loved photography. Enjoyed going to museums, zoos, and any outing with the family.
