Raymond Ver Mulm

Raymond Ver Mulm, age 82, passed away at the Crown Pointe Estates Nursing Home in Sioux Center on Thursday, October 22, 2026. 

A Funeral Service will take place at 11 AM on Monday, October 26, 2026, at the Memorial Funeral Home in Sioux Center, Iowa.  Burial will follow the service in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Sioux Center. 

There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home on Monday, where the family will greet friends.

Raymond Ver Mulm left his earthly body on October 22, 1926 to be held in the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Raymond was born on July 28, 1944, to Case and Cora Ver Mulm in LeMars, Iowa, and grew up in Rock Valley, Iowa, until his parents' death when he was a teen and went to live with his Uncle Bill and Aunt Win.

Raymond married Ella Mae Kruid on July 7, 1964, in Sioux Center, Iowa, and lived in Sioux Center, Iowa, from 1969 until his passing.

Raymond is survived by his wife Ella Mae, his son Randy of George, IA, Dan of Oskaloosa, IA, Jay of Spirit Lake, IA, and daughter Pam (Ron) Williams of Waukee, IA. Grandchildren Sam and Jonah Ver Mulm of Oskaloosa, IA, Rachel (Jed) Nissen of Des Moines, IA, Alan (Bailey) Williams of Des Moines, IA, Anita and Brittany Williams of West Des Moines, IA, and 2 great-grandchildren, Elliot Williams and Chloe Nissen.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Case and Cora Ver Mulm, his brothers Bill and Harold Ver Mulm and sister Gert Vermeer.
