Scott Rozeboom, age 55 of Sioux City, Iowa passed away surrounded by his family, Saturday, September 20, 2025 at his home in Sioux City.
Visitation will take place Friday, September 26, 2025 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home in Sioux Center.
A funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday September 27, 2025 at Memorial Funeral Home in Sioux Center with Pastor Ron Boersema, officiating.
Scott Rozeboom was born January 28, 1970 in Omaha, Nebraska, the son of Glenn and Betty (Eckhoff) Rozeboom. Scott grew up in rural Carmel, Iowa with his two brothers and graduated from Hull Western Christian High School in 1988.
After high school, Scott worked and farmed on the family farm until moving to Sioux City to work at Waste Management. While working for Waste Management his job moved him to Minnesota for a short while, before moving back to Sioux City. He worked at Standard Ready Mix Concrete Company for the past 16 years.
Scott was blessed with five children and three grandchildren, whom he enjoyed spending time with. He also enjoyed motorcycle riding, fishing, farming, hockey, watching dirt track racing, but most of all loved packing silage. He was known for his classic one liners and his dad jokes.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Steven (Jasalyn) Rozeboom, Max Rozeboom, Kyler Rozeboom, Alexis Rozeboom, Hunter Rozeboom; 3 grandchildren, Chevelle, Cooper, and Bristol; parents, Glenn and Betty Rozeboom; brothers, Steve (Amy Poppema) Rozeboom and Brian (Nicole) Rozeboom; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews; and extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Scott wore his heart on his sleeve. He will be greatly missed by many.
